We represent children who need accommodations and/or special pupil services beginning with the determination of eligibility for services to, where appropriate, the design of a 504 Plan or the design and implementation of an Individualized Education Plan. When school districts disagree, we represent students in Due Process Hearings before administrative tribunals including the Connecticut State Board of Education.

We are available to assist students confronting challenges including deaf–blindness, deafness and hearing impairment, blindness and visual impairment, emotional disturbance, mental retardation, orthopedic impairment or physical disability, other health impairment (including: ADD, ADHD, and Diabetes, Epilepsy, heart conditions, Hemophilia, lead poisoning, and Nephritis, Leukemia, etc.), specific learning disabilities, speech/language impairment, traumatic brain injury, Autism and Autistic Spectrum Disorders, including Asperger’s Syndrome, cognitive disability, Tourette’s Syndrome, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), and Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD).
